Day 1 – Montbui
This week one of our classes, the 3rd year International, is in Spain for our new Erasmus+ project “Every drop makes a difference”💧
They landed yesterday in Barcelona and immediately went to the beach with the Spanish students from the @institut_montbui 🏖️🤝
They then visited the Cram foundation, where they learned about micro plastics and saw the turtles rescued by the foundation 🐢
Day 2 – Montbui
📍 Visit to the Geoparc Mundial UNESCO de la Catalunya Central in Manresa to learn about the impact of water in the region of Catalunia💧
📍 Visit to the Monastery of Montserrat ⛪️
Dinner and Barcelona vs PSG football match
Day 3 – Montbui
📍 ”La vida de l’aigua”, a little exhibition about water
📍 “Molí Paperer de Capellades”, a museum about paper and how it is made. The Spanish students from @institut_montbui joined our students for the visit and together they tried to make a sheet of paper 📜
📍 Back to school to have paella for lunch all together in the school yard 🥘
Day 4 – Montbui
📍 Pantà de las Baells: tour of the #dam on the outside and the inside 🏞️
Lunch and free time
Evening picnic with the Spanish students, playing music and having so much fun together 🎶🤩
Day 5 – Montbui
📍 Museu del ter
Visit and discovery of all the machineries that are used to produce cotton ⚙️
Insects collection from the Ter river to understand the level of pollution in the river’s water 🐛
Analysis of the water in the laboratory💧
Finally, back to Barcelona for the last day 🚌
Day 6 – Barcelona
Last day in Spain
📍Barcelona!
For their last day in Spain our students had churros and hot chocolate for breakfast🍫 and then they went sightseeing 📸 they saw Las Ramblas and arrived to the beach 🌊
After some free time for lunch and souvenirs shopping, they took the bus to the airport ✈️
